When I blog, I have an array of devices ? each with a different function. The laptop has the all-round functionality, the tablet the portability and the handset has the pocketability.
The array of devices needed for blogging at #MWC
Some simple, innovative thinking by KT Telecom brings (some of) these devices closer together.
This rather nifty docking station looks like a laptop but without your Android plugged in, it?s a dumb device. Benefits? It charges your phone, and all your data and content is on a single device (without needing a cloud-based sync). Currently a prototype, when it ships in South Korea, the target prices will be under $200. It?s hardly going to replace your laptop, but it is a nice alternative.
From the front this looks like any other Android tablet, but flip it over and you find an Android handset snuggled up. Unlike the dumb dock, this is a fully functioning tablet when the handset is decoupled.
And finally, plug your Android into the Bluetooth gaming console dock, and push the gaming experience onto a big screen. So with one device, you can play on the move or with your feet up, in front of the TV.
