Let?s face it; the traditional beach holidays are overrated. You fly out to some packed popular tourist destination with your family, head to a hotel, eat the same food every day, laze by the pool, play on the beach and repeat until you head home a week or two later. For some people this is perfect and they wouldn?t want to change anything, but for many, it is a perfect time to get their butts in gear and look at the wonderful world of family adventure holidays.

Here are a couple of the many available family adventure holidays, you and your loved ones could go on to mix up the stale yearly family holiday.

All kids love playing in snow, and Slovakia is a fantastic family friendly destination. Home to snow clad mountains that are perfect for some winter fun including dog sledding, snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding. If you?re tired after all that activity, take a plunge into one of the relaxing thermal pools.

If your children are budding Indiana Jones? and love the Disney classic Aladdin, then they will love a holiday to Morocco. This exciting and historic destination offers Berber villages to explore, trips to the Atlas Mountains, camel rides and visiting the old pirates? nest of Essaouira are all bound to fascinate and delight.

China is a wonderful country to visit, especially for young ones who can soak up the rich culture and contrasting ways of life. A Land of the Dragon tour will have you visiting the great wall, seeing the terracotta warriors, experiencing giant pandas and meeting some Shaolin monks. A family holiday to china will be really special and one that you all won?t forget in a hurry.

If you have ever fancied visiting Egypt and seeing the Pyramids, but wanted something a little different, then a desert experience will be right up your sand lined street. After exploring Cairo and Luxor, you head into the Sahara where you will cover this wide expanse by 4?4 and camel.

This is just a number of the many family adventure holidays you can book and experience for yourselves. Stop heading to the same tired beach resorts and start exploring the world with your family, one day you will all start to lose touch and your children will start their own adventure, so now is the perfect time for a family adventure holiday.
