The Windows Phone Store team is looking for an individual to lead to lead the evolution of our developer experiences. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for the mobile app ecosystem, experience managing mobile advertising or an online service and strong product management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Windows Phone Store mobile advertising business planning and execution including: create cross-functional v-team to develop business requirements; collaborate on specifications with engineering teams; create value proposition/core content to articulate benefits; land capabilities with developers, partners & field organization; monitor and report advertising performance and developer return; become subject matter expert on 3rd party solutions to inform plans; and create feedback mechanisms
- Lead Windows Phone Store Dev Center and developer experience with accountability to establish business requirements, key metrics and priorities for the portal, as well as lead product management functions including: develop value proposition/core content, land capabilities with developers and field, establish developer feedback mechanism to influence future plans, develop a partnership with Windows to drive alignment of Windows Dev Center with Windows Phone Dev Center as appropriate, and establish regular reporting of results
- Manage Windows Phone Store PC-based experience including product management functions to drive alignment on core features with the phone-based experience and identify opportunities unique to the PC
- Act as business lead for regular servicing releases to prioritize business needs/requirements; collaborate with engineering on execution/test details where needed (example local testing); and manage communications to marketing, field and partner organizations
- Manage detail geographic expansion planning and execution, including adding new countries, implementing and communicating country-specific requirements and collaboration with other Microsoft business groups to ensure alignment of experiences
- Act as subject matter expert and lead on global app and game rating systems to influence a single Microsoft approach to ratings and to act as a single point of contact with ratings bodies (e.g. PEGI, ESRB, CTIA)

As a qualified candidate you will need to be able to demonstrate:

- Experience in mobile advertising product planning or management with an understanding of business models, popular tools and business intelligence
- Deep understanding of a developer ecosystem and passion for working with developers
- Proven ability to filter and prioritize diverse needs to create competitive business requirements
- Strong partnering and collaboration skills across multiple business and engineering teams to build shared plan and manage execution
- Ability to develop creative solutions to quickly adapt plans in a changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly write and deliver field and public facing communications to drive action

Professional Qualifications:

- 5-7+ years? experience in product management, business management, operation of an online business/service, product planning, or program management
- Mobile or online advertising product management experience is preferred
- Experience working with a developer ecosystem is preferred
- Experience launching new of major updates to products or online services in international markets is preferred
- A strong background in business, business management, business process optimization, project management, or the business operations of a consumer facing online service is preferred
- MBA preferred

The position is based in Redmond which is mandatory due to the close day to day interaction with multiple teams based in Redmond.
