Iatria Health Center Acupuncturist Presents Blood Pressure Class

Angela Baylis, doctor of chiropractic and managing director of Iatria Health Center, has announced that Brian Kramer, licensed acupuncturist at the firm, will teach a class on regulating blood pressure with Oriental Medicine on Tuesday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at Iatria Spa and Health Center in Wakefield. The class will include a discussion on hypertension and how acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition can help regulate blood pressure. Seating is limited and registration can be made by calling 919-861-8944. The Health Center is located at 13200 New Falls of Neuse Road.

About Brian Kramer:
Brian Kramer, M.S., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., CPT is a licensed acupuncturist at Iatria Health Center practicing holistic medicine utilizing acupuncture, herbal medicine rehabilitation medical massage, nutrition counseling, and health and fitness education. He specializes in muscular-skeletal disorders, women?s health, internal medicine, and a health and wellness lecture series. He obtained his bachelor degree in Biology with a minor in Communication from the University of New Mexico in 1993, and later graduated with a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in New Mexico in 1997. As a board certified acupuncturist from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) with Diplomate status since 1997 and a licensed acupuncturist in North Carolina since 1998, Kramer was named best practitioner in complementary healthcare by Independent Magazine in 2002. He also has over 20 years of experience in fitness training, and is a certified Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
